In My Box
Children in today’s society will inevitably encounter negative sources of endorphins like illicit substances, social media, bullying, and violence. We wish to help children develop coping mechanisms for the everyday stressors they encounter throughout the hustle and bustle of life. We encourage parents to use this resource to teach their children how to identify and appreciate the simple joys around us. Use this adventure between two brothers to help your child create his or her very own tool box of joys for healthy coping from day to day, moment to moment.
We are physicians by day and parents by night. As a pain medicine physician and psychiatrist, we’ve seen how drugs and other negative sources of endorphins lead to the demise of communities: socially, physically, and emotionally. The proceeds from this book will help support small organizations that aim to provide quality care to youth suffering from mental health disorders.
